Murray Stenson has been serving people for over three decades (36 years to be exact) from behind Seattle's most esteemed bars. Now, he has a heart ailment that prevents him from working in the profession to which he has given so much.
To help raise money for his medical expenses, MurrayAid was launched on October 20 by friends, and this Web site and a Facebook page were established to chronical the effort. Check back frequently to find updates on fundraising activitites, and to see how people around the world are helping our friend who has brought so much joy and laughter to so many people.

MurrayAid: Hi Everyone
Great news! Murray had heart surgery about a week ago. The surgery went really smoothly and so far recovery is going well. He was discharged this morning and is back at home, happy to cozy up on the couch with his two beloved cats.
Big thanks to the great nurses, doctors, surgeons and other staff at UW Medical Center.
And big thanks to all of you for your continued support.
